About DO
Discovering new dive destinations, organising your own trips and finding last minute spaces on boats just got easier.
Divers Online offers an alternative solution to the way you access scuba diving in the UK and overseas. We aim to deliver more choice, more variety and more opportunities to dive – so you get more out of the sport we love.
Divers Online is good for everyone into scuba diving.
For Divers – whether it’s a last minute space you’re after or a dive holiday overseas, with so many trips and spaces on offer you bound to find something that hits the spot. Alternatively, if you have a great idea for a trip, why not organise your own with our help and support. You will find practical advice about what you need to consider, including our Top Tips for Organising Trips download. You can also use our Dive Talk blog to gain local knowledge from divers with first hand experience or Contact Us and we’ll see what we can do to help.
For Clubs – use the FindaDiveClub section to tell divers in your area what your club is all about. If you have boat spaces you can’t fill, advertise them here, it’s a great way to eliminate the risk of losing money on trips, you could even attract new divers to join your club. If you don’t have the volunteers to organise all your own trips, you can top up your dive schedule here, just sign up for the number of spaces you know your members can fill – it’s a win, win situation!
For Skippers – promote your boat in our FindaBoat section, let us know where you are and what underwater attractions you have in your part of the country. If you’re into running your own expeditions or technical weekends, use Divers Online to promote your special trips. If you find yourself with an empty boat or have a few spaces at short notice, you can use our interweb to let club members know via Facebook, Twitter and SMS messaging, more or less instantly. So, there’s no reason why you should have ropes off, without a full squad again.
B&Bs and Hotels – after a great days diving, we all need a good nights sleep. If you run a ‘diver friendly’ establishment, then tell us about it in our FindAccommodation section. Many B&Bs welcome divers and know what we need to make our stay that little bit more accommodating – facilities like a drying room for kit, the option for an extra early breakfast when ropes off is at stupid o’clock to catch slack water. It all helps make a great weekend – outstanding, and that’s good for repeat business.
For Dive Centres – put yours on the map in our FindaDiveCentre section, and tell us what services you provide. Air, Nitrox, Trimix fills, diver training, equipment hire and servicing, and what about a shop? It’s good to know what’s available when you’re visiting an unfamiliar area. If you offer extra help, like collecting empty cylinders from the boat, it makes the job of organising a dive weekend that little bit easier.
